Dr. Patricia McGarry is originally from Sault Ste. Marie and has been practicing as a Psychologist for over 20 years. 

She obtained her doctoral training from the University of Ottawa and clinical training originally at Brockville Psychiatric Hospital and in forensic treatment in the Ministry of Public Safety and Correctional Services in Sault Ste. Marie. 

She has been involved in ongoing training over the years in the competencies of adult psychological assessment and treatment in clinical, counseling and forensic psychology.

She has also most recently been involved in training opportunities for performance and sports related activities supporting local golf enthusiasts and involvement in the Toronto Marathon's psychologist support team. 

She has taught a number of psychology courses at the University level and has given a variety of workshops and lectures in the community. 

She makes her home in Sault Ste. Marie, is mother to three growing children and loves sports and the outdoors. 

She is enjoying full time private practice in the community, developing a network of health care professionals to help provide patients and clients with the best mental health care .

 She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association and is enjoying involvement in provincial psychology as the Northern Director for the Ontario Psychological Association.
